The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions: "Client," “You,” and “Your” refers to You, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “Company,” “Ourselves,” “We,” and "Us" refers to CredentialGenie. The “Site” refers to CredentialGenie.com. “Party,” “Parties,” or “Us,” refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
Use of CredentialGenie.com
For Healthcare Facilities
CredentialGenie is an online credentialing service that helps manage credentials for medical licensed professionals (referred to herein as “Service” or “Services”). As a Healthcare Facility you will be able to create an account and manage all your providers credentialing in one place. You will be able to save all credentialing documents associated with a provider. You will be able to set notifications for when documents expire and are due for renewal. You will be able to search for providers in your account by name, location, specialty or just using a general key word search. You acknowledge that all files and documents associated with your account are your responsibility for accuracy and compliance. CredentialGenie will not be responsible for any provider files or documents expiring or going past the renewal date. CredentialGenie will not be responsible for any legal disputes or issues related to credentialing files expiring. The facility that owns the account is responsible for provider profiles, regular maintenance of the profiles and making sure all files are up to date and in compliance. Any provider information that is managed in CredentialGenie is owned by the facility. If the facility enters any content that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or if CredentialGenie has reasonable grounds to suspect that such Content is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, CredentialGenie reserves the right to suspend or terminate Your account in its sole discretion. You agree not to create an account using a false identity or information, or on behalf of anyone other than our facility. You agree that You shall not have more than one account. You agree not to create an account or use the Site or Service if You have been previously removed by CredentialGenie, or if You have been previously banned from the Site or Service.
As a Licensed Medical Provider using CredentialGenie you can upload, save and manage all your credentialing documents. You can also set notifications for when your documents expire. You can edit your profile at any time, you can archive old files, save new files and edit files. You understand and agree that You are responsible for managing your own profile, validation of documents and accuracy of documents. If you require assistance to upload documents and set up your profile, you can request assistance at no extra fee. Any provider information that you upload that is managed in CredentialGenie is owned by you the Provider. If the Provider enters any content that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or if CredentialGenie has reasonable grounds to suspect that such Content is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, CredentialGenie reserves the right to suspend or terminate Your account in its sole discretion. You agree not to create an account using a false identity or information, or on behalf of anyone other than you. You agree that You shall not have more than one account. You agree not to create an account or use the Site or Service if You have been previously removed by CredentialGenie, or if You have been previously banned from the Site or Service.
CredentialGenie will complete credentialing services on behalf of “Clients” in order to help them get hired to work in clinical practices and/or to help them enroll with insurance companies, to be able to provider clinical services in a safe environment for patients. CredentialGenie will collect and will verify information on providers in order to be able to complete these services. Information that can include personal information such as home address, phone number, email address, previous work history, references, education and any other documents, certifications or licenses that a provider has in order to be qualified to provide medical care.
By providing your information to CredentalGenie you authorize CredentialGenie to use such information, when required and with your authorization, to use this information and share with third parties in order to carry out our services as needed. You certify that all information provided by You is complete, truthful and accurate and hold CredentialGenie harmless as a result of any claims related to this agreement.
CredentialGenie is a third party company providing a service and cannot make any guarantees that any service we provider will result in You being hired or cleared to work in any medical instution or that any insurance enrollment application that we complete on your behalf will be accepted or approved.
In the event CredentialGenie completes an application on your behalf we make no guarantees and has no control over the start date or effective dates by either the medical institution and/or the insurance health plans.
You acknowledge that from time to time You may enter personal information into the site (“User Data”). Only employees within the Company on a need-to-know basis will have access to the User Data collected from individual customers. Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain and preserve the privacy of User Data; provided, that, Company may disclose User Data pursuant to a good faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to: (1) comply with a legal order; (2) enforce this Agreement; or (3) protect Our rights and interests. You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur in connection with Your accounts and passwords. You agree to keep all passwords confidential, and to immediately notify Us if You know or have reason to believe, that the security of any the Site account has been compromised.
Company will maintain Provider information as confidential and not use or share the User Data for any reason other that’s it’s intended use. Company retains Your User Data so long as Your account is active. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Company shall have the perpetual right to use and disclose the aforementioned data solely in its aggregate form in a non-attributed manner for its business purposes. CredentialGenie will not sell User Data to mailing lists or share User Data to those who would use it for marketing purposes.
Proprietary Rights & Confidentiality.
Company holds all right, title and interest in and to all intellectual property and proprietary rights associated with the Site (collectively, “IP Rights”) and all such IP Rights shall remain with Company and/or its third party suppliers. You acknowledge such IP Rights and will not take any action to jeopardize, limit or interfere in any manner with Company’s or its suppliers' ownership of, or rights with respect to, the Site. Title and related rights in the third party content accessed through the Site is the property of the applicable content owner and is protected by applicable law. Use of the Site does not give You rights to any such third party content.
You agree to keep all information gained from using our Site confidential.
Exclusions and Limitations
The information on this Site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:
excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents or which is or may be provided by any affiliates or any other third party, including in relation to any inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/or the Company’s literature; and
excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with Your use of this Site. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of things or You have advised this Company of the possibility of such potential loss), damage caused to Your computer, computer software, systems and programs and the data thereon or any other direct or indirect, consequential and incidental damages.
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, as well as to administer and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without Your explicit permission.

If any of these terms are deemed invalid or unenforceable for any reason (including, but not limited to the exclusions and limitations set out above), then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed from these terms and the remaining terms will continue to apply. Failure of the Company to enforce any of the provisions set out in these Terms and Conditions and any agreement, or failure to exercise any option to terminate, shall not be construed as waiver of such provisions and shall not affect the validity of these Terms and Conditions or of any agreement or any part thereof, or the right thereafter to enforce each and every provision. These Terms and Conditions shall not be amended, modified, varied or supplemented except in writing and signed by duly authorized representatives of the Company.
